Choose Your Adventure

Nowhere in Thailand has as many good ziplines as Chiang Mai, and no two parks are alike. One is about speed, one about the views, one throws in a mountain go-kart, and one is a family park built around younger kids.

Fun day with the kids - aged 7 and 9. They loved the jungle coaster, ziplines, and the butterfly. The fly was "lame" and the VR was also pretty basic - but both were still fun. Plan to spend a fee hours here. We had time for two other activities during the day along with the…

For the Zipline... Wear sneakers. They have free lockers; you just pay a deposit. I bought the 14-station Zipline ticket from Trip.com for 7xx Baht per person, and I paid an extra 200 Baht for the Jungle Coaster and 200 Baht for the FlyLine. Just 3 activities were enough for 4.5…

Might be a concern for first timers as there were no briefing on equipment/ gear but the guides were attentive. Pretty easy climbs between ziplines, no technical courses involved. Did a full course with a 9 yr old without any issues. Not a safety officer here but would prefer mor…

We had a great time there. We went on New Year’s Day, but it wasn’t crowded at all. The weather was perfect, and the scenery was beautiful. My 3-year-old loved the little train and also really enjoyed the playground. I had coffee and a meal, and both were good. The food prices w…

It's a nice change and sight adventure while you stay in Chiang Mai. We tried the full course high ropes. It could be designed a bit more adventurous or longer. Nicely organized and I felt very safe. However, it felt too rushed and compact. I would definitely recommend they add a…

FAQ

Common Questions

Which zipline in Chiang Mai is the best?

There is no single best park, it depends on what you want. Kingkong Smile has the longest line at 1,200 metres. Skyline Adventure has the highest rating and the option to race a 2.1 kilometre luge kart down the mountain. Pong Yang combines ziplines with a jungle coaster and has the prettiest setting on the Samoeng road. Jungle Flight runs the only zipline roller coaster, Sky Hawk pairs its course with an ATV ride, and Phoenix is the family park with the cheapest tickets of the six, meal and transfer included. Our comparison page puts them all side by side.

How much does ziplining in Chiang Mai cost?

The mountain parks run 1,800 to 2,800 baht per person depending on the package, per the parks’ 2026 rate sheets, and that price includes hotel transfer, lunch, insurance and all equipment, so there is little to add on top. The budget pick is Phoenix in Mae Rim, from 1,000 baht with a meal and transfer included.

Is ziplining in Chiang Mai safe?

The parks we list use European-standard equipment, double safety lines and trained guides who clip you in at every platform. Weight and age limits apply and the guides enforce them. Read our safety guide if you want the details.

Do I need to book in advance?

In high season, December to February, yes. The parks run fixed pickup rounds in the morning and early afternoon and they do fill up. Booking a day ahead is usually enough.

Do I have to pay online in advance?

No. You reserve online at the listed price and pay at the park on the day, in cash or by card depending on the park. There is no prepayment and cancellation is free, so booking ahead costs nothing and locks in your pickup slot.
