Description

An hour east of the city, up in the Doi Saket hills at Thep Sadet, is the park that Chiang Mai guests keep rating above all the others. We went up sceptical, honestly. Came back understanding the 4.8.

Skyline Adventure

Doi Saket

Open in Google Maps

The park is about an hour east of Chiang Mai in the Doi Saket hills. Most guests take the included hotel pickup; if you drive yourself, arrive 30 minutes before your session for check-in and gear fitting.

Your driver collects you in the morning and heads east out of the city, climbing into the Doi Saket hills for about an hour. At the park you register, gear up, and run through the safety briefing before the guides walk you to the first platform. From there it is line after line through the forest, with the sky bridges, the abseil and the giant swing worked in along the way. The circuit takes two to two and a half hours at a relaxed pace. Lunch is the Thai buffet at the park restaurant, and if you booked the luge you ride the 2.1 kilometre track after eating. You are back at your hotel by mid afternoon.

FAQs

Skyline takes riders from 4 to 65 years old with a maximum weight of 110 kg, per the park’s 2026 rate agreement. The guides confirm both at check-in. Child tickets on this site cover ages 4 to 11.

Depends on the package. The Express tier is ziplines and the giant swing only; the higher tiers add the 2.1 kilometre luge kart run back down the mountain. The package options on this page spell out exactly what each one includes.

Closed shoes are required, and clothes you can move in. In the cool season bring a light layer, the park sits at altitude and January mornings up there are genuinely cold.

Light rain does not stop the ziplines, and honestly the forest is at its best in it. The parks only pause for lightning or strong wind, and if a session is called off you do not pay.

About five hours door to door. The van collects you from your Chiang Mai hotel, the drive into the Doi Saket mountains takes about an hour, and you are usually back by mid afternoon. A Thai buffet at the park is included. Pickup is free for hotels in Chiang Mai city and up to about 5 km beyond; further out (Mae Rim, Hang Dong, the mountainside resorts) the park charges roughly 500 to 2,000 baht each way, so message us your hotel first.

No prepayment. You book online, we confirm, and you pay at the park on the day. Cancellation is free, so a change of plans costs nothing.

No. Ziplining is not suitable during pregnancy, and the park advises against it for anyone with heart, back or blood pressure conditions. If you are unsure, ask your doctor first, not us.

Well organised professional crew of people. Pickup from hotel to buffet lunch around 60 mins. Then after 30 min, onto the mountain by car another 25 min. Fitted with harness etc and safety briefing before guided down the 20+ zip lines and 2 vertical drops. After final zip across valley, get fastened into giant swing. Lastly onto the mountain cycle luge course, before 1.5 hour return to hotel

Absolutely fantastic experience on this zipline adventure! The coaches were super experienced and helpful, they were nice to the kids and overall just great! We felt save the whole way! The organization of all events was very good and everything went very smoothly. The lunch was much better than other tours. The only thing I would mention is that the drive there might be bad if you get car sick easily. Many curves up and down for the last 40ish minutes of the ride. 😂 But if you want to experience the best zipline, this is what you gotta do!

This is a very professional operation with a exceptional set of 38 ziplines and absails, fun luge carts and a great lunch thrown in. Only disappointment was their gear, although well maintained mechanically, was very smelly.

The staff, guides and coaches there are very friendly and helpful. Zip-lining is a must try there. It is a fun way to see the jungles, forests and mountains in Chiang Mai. Driving the karts is also fun.

Today is the Flower Festival in Chiang Mai, so traffic was extremely heavy everywhere. We had booked a Skyline activity, but our driver arrived late because of the parade. Normally, it takes just over an hour to get there from our hotel, but today it took almost two hours. We were worried that the return trip in the evening might also be delayed. Fortunately, the owner was very kind and understanding. After we explained our situation, he arranged for us to experience all the activities within one hour. At the end, he even personally drove us back to the hotel. This is a very responsible and customer-oriented business. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend this place to others.
