Description
Twelve hundred metres. Hold that number for a second, because most ziplines you have ridden were probably under 300. Kingkong Smile's headline line crosses an entire mountain valley in Doi Saket, the longest single zipline in Chiang Mai and, if you believe the park's claim, one of the longest anywhere in Asia. You hang on that cable for the better part of a minute. Long enough to scream, get bored of screaming, and start looking at the scenery.

Kingkong Smile Zipline
Doi Saket
The park is about an hour from the city in the Doi Saket mountains. Most guests take the included hotel pickup; if you drive yourself, arrive 30 minutes before your session for check-in and gear fitting.
Your driver picks you up in the morning for the hour-long climb into Doi Saket. After registration and the safety briefing the guides fit your gear and start you on the shorter lines to build confidence. The course works up through the bridges, nets and the glass skywalk toward the big one, the 1,200 metre line across the valley, which most groups reach with equal parts excitement and nerves. The full circuit takes around two to three hours. Lunch is served at the park afterwards, and you are back in the city by mid afternoon.
FAQs
Kingkong Smile lists ages 10 to 65, a minimum height of 110 cm and a maximum weight of 110 kg, per the park’s 2026 rate sheet. The guides confirm at check-in. For younger or smaller kids, Phoenix or Pong Yang are the better picks, and we say that as the people selling this one.
Long enough that you stop screaming halfway because you run out of breath. It is the longest zipline ride in Chiang Mai, about a minute in the air, and the reason most people book this park. The full Extreme course is around 3.6 kilometres of cable over 38 platforms.
No. The glass skywalk is part of the course but there is a normal walkway alternative, so acrophobic partners can keep their dignity and their dry palms.
Closed shoes are required, and clothes you can move in. Bring a light layer in the cool season, the park sits high in the Doi Saket mountains.
Light rain does not stop the ziplines, and honestly the forest is at its best in it. The parks only pause for lightning or strong wind, and if a session is called off you do not pay. The big line specifically closes in strong gusts, so on stormy afternoons take the morning round.
About five hours door to door. The drive into the Doi Saket mountains takes about an hour from your hotel, and lunch at the park is included. Pickup is free for hotels in Chiang Mai city; outside the city the park charges about 1,000 baht per car for the round trip, so message us your hotel first.
No prepayment. You book online, we confirm, and you pay at the park on the day. Cancellation is free, so a change of plans costs nothing.

Great Day Out. Friendly informative staff willing to help. At age 55 I struggled a little with the climbing net, but the staff were on hand to help. Went with my 18 year old son who loved it. Stunning views all around of the beautiful jungle and mountains. Fantastic experience

What an incredible experience. Thoroughly enjoyed by myself and my partner. The whole process was very organised and thorough and we felt completely safe throughout the whole course. We didn’t stop smiling the whole way around! All of the staff were very lovely, and fun and made our experience. Aron especially!! 😂 Would highly recommend! It is worth the money! I would recommend wearing long sleeve trousers as the harness otherwise cuts into your legs 👍🏻

We had an amazing zip lining experience with Kingkong Smile Zipline, starting from booking it and communicating with the company. They were very responsive and easy to book with. They also provide transportation door to door from your hotel. They have different levels of ziplining and they work with you on choosing the right one. Once we got there, the staff were super nice and friendly! They even take pics/videos for you. We felt super safe the entire time. We had a blast and highly recommend this company for ziplining!
