Description

Parks with bigger marketing budgets have opened and closed around Jungle Flight, several of them, and this crew is still up in the Doi Saket forest doing what they have done longer than almost anyone in Chiang Mai. Still rated 4.8 too. The camp sits an hour from the city in the Thep Sadet mountains, and it is proper old forest up there, the platforms built around living trees instead of poles. One ride sets this park apart: the zipline roller coaster. Forget the straight cable.

Jungle Flight Chiang Mai

Doi Saket

Open in Google Maps

The mountain camp is about an hour from the city in Doi Saket. Most guests take the included hotel pickup; if you drive yourself, arrive 30 minutes before your session for check-in and gear fitting.

Pickup is in the morning for the hour-long drive into the Doi Saket mountains. At the camp you register, gear up and get the safety briefing, then the guides lead you into the forest. The course alternates straight lines with the roller coaster sections, working in sky bridges and an abseil descent, with the guides handling every clip. Plan on two to three hours on the course depending on the package. Lunch is served at the camp afterwards, and you are back at your hotel by mid afternoon.

FAQs

Jungle Flight takes riders from 8 to 70 years old on the zipline tours, with a maximum weight of 120 kg; the Roller Coaster tour (JF2) is for ages 15 to 60. The guides confirm at check-in. Child tickets on this site cover ages 8 to 11.

A ride on a rigid rail that curves, dips and banks through the trees instead of running straight, the only one of its kind in Chiang Mai. The coaster section runs 1,100 metres, and the JF2 package pairs it with the full zipline course. If you have ziplined before, this is the reason to come back.

Closed shoes are required, and clothes you can move in. Long shorts or trousers make the harness friendlier.

Light rain does not stop the ziplines, and honestly the forest is at its best in it. The parks only pause for lightning or strong wind, and if a session is called off you do not pay.

About five hours door to door depending on the package. Jungle Flight is roughly an hour into the Doi Saket mountains, pickup from Chiang Mai hotels is included, and so is a cooked Thai lunch at the park. Free pickup covers hotels inside the city and the superhighway ring; beyond that the park charges 500 to 1,500 baht round trip depending on location, so message us your hotel first.

No prepayment. You book online, we confirm, and you pay at the park on the day. Cancellation is free, so a change of plans costs nothing.

No. Ziplining is not suitable during pregnancy, and the park advises against it for anyone with heart, back or blood pressure conditions.

Amazing zipline experience! The team is highly skilled and safety is clearly a top priority. Big thanks to Aom and Tai for making the trip so memorable—it was a day full of laughs and great energy. Don't miss out on this!

The Zipline experience was AWESOME!! Great equipment, amazing forest, super professional and nice staff and guides. We did the 1.5 hour, 25 platform route and loved every minute of it!! Fair price and great experience, we felt completely safe and secure. We are a family of 6, ages range from 9 years old to 48, and we all did the route with ease. The one downside was the lunch - nothing about it was good, and probably worth just taking it off the package, cause everything else besides the lunch was so excellent.

If you are in Chiang Mai and look to do a zip line course, you got to choose Jungle Flight! There are different packages to choose from which cover different routes / types of zip lines but they all include. 1. Pick up and drop off from your hotel in Chiang Mai 2. Lunch with drinks 3. Attentive English / Chinese instructors 4. All necessary equipment 5. Loads of fun 6. Safety briefing They have a great team who will take care of you during your trip with them and it’s great for older kids and those who love adventure. All zip lines were maintained and we never once felt unsafe. You can top up to do the zip roller coaster for 400bhat, I highly recommend recommend this option as it’s quite unique and you get to swing through the forest canopy across a 1.2km route. Instead of bring your phone with you and worrying you will drop it, you can also choose a photography package. We got this and it came with over 200 hours photos. You also get a lovely and tasty lunch buffet that over looks the canopy and mountains. Huge shout out and thanks to Ping Pong, Max, Dom, Mike Noi, First and the rest of the team for such a fun time!

Wonderful experience a big shout-out to one of the guides "New" very compassionate and understanding if you all of a sudden get nervous or scared. Very helpful through out the entire ride but which in effect makes it that much more enjoyable that you have employees that care about the welfare of their visitors and not simply rushing through it. The meal provided was quite delicious. Also there is alot of climbing stairs (spiral stairs) and some walking in a little trail so bring good shoes

Such an awesome day out, pick up from hotel nice and early, decent drive out to the mountains, the 1100m zip line was my favourite, crazy how fast and high up you go, the 1100m roller coaster was also super fun. Staff are all amazing as well they really make it such a unique experience, free feed afterwards with a phenomenal view. Definitely would recommend.
