Want the highest rated day out? Skyline Adventure. Guests score it 4.8 and it is the only park where you can zipline and then race a gravity kart 2.1 kilometres back down the mountain.
Travelling with a mixed group? Pong Yang. The jungle coaster works for nearly everyone, the setting on the Samoeng road is the prettiest of the five, and the cafe by the waterfall keeps the non-fliers happy.
Chasing the big line? Kingkong Smile. The 1,200 metre valley crossing is the longest single zipline in Chiang Mai and the full circuit gives you the most metres of cable for your baht.
Done ziplines before? Jungle Flight. The roller coaster rail that curves and banks through the canopy is something none of the other parks have.
Hate crowds, or want ATVs in the same day? Sky Hawk. The quietest mountain of the lot, small groups, and the only park where one booking covers the canopy and a forest ATV ride.
Small kids, tight budget, or short on time? Phoenix. The cheapest tickets of the six with a meal and hotel transfer included, ziplines from age 6, ropes courses from age 10, a sheep farm for the toddler, and the shortest drive of the lot.
The mountain parks all work the same way: fixed pickup rounds from city hotels, starting as early as 07:00 at Skyline and Kingkong Smile and running to early afternoon (the last rounds leave between 12:30 and 13:30 depending on the park), about an hour in the van to Doi Saket or 40 minutes to Mae Rim, two to three hours on the course, lunch at the park, and back at your hotel by mid afternoon. Take a morning round if you can, cooler air and calmer wind on the long lines. One shared small-print item: free pickup covers hotels in Chiang Mai city (roughly inside the superhighway ring). Staying in Mae Rim, Hang Dong or a mountainside resort, message us your hotel before booking, the parks charge a transfer surcharge of about 500 to 2,000 baht out there. Phoenix runs two rounds, 09:00 and 13:00, and most families spend two to four hours.
One thing that makes comparing the parks easy: every price in the table above bakes transfer, equipment, insurance and food into the ticket, so the sticker price is the final price. The rates are taken from the parks' own 2026 agent rate sheets, the same ones the booking pages charge. You reserve at the listed rate and pay at the park on the day, cancel free if plans change. (Phoenix also sells cheaper bare tickets at its own desk without transfer or food, if you would rather make your own way out.)

Three different days out. Kingkong Smile and Sky Hawk are pure zipline courses. Pong Yang and Jungle Flight add a rail coaster, which is the part most people remember. Phoenix Adventure Park is a ropes-course family park rather than a mountain zipline. Skyline Adventure is the one that does both, with 21 lines and a luge kart.
Phoenix Adventure Park at 1,000 baht, though it is a walk-in family park rather than a full mountain course. Among the mountain parks, Sky Hawk is the cheapest at 1,800 baht.
Pong Yang handles mixed ages best, because small children can ride the jungle coaster tandem while older ones do the lines. Phoenix adds ropes courses, a park train and a sheep farm, so there is something to do between activities. Skyline Adventure takes children from about 4.
Plan a half day for any of the mountain parks, including transfer time. Doi Saket is roughly an hour from the city each way and Mae Rim 30 to 40 minutes. Phoenix is the exception at 2 to 4 hours, at your own pace, and it is the closest to town at about 18 km.
