Right now six parks around Chiang Mai will put you on a zipline, and they differ more than their brochures suggest. Five are mountain adventure parks selling an all-in half day; one, Phoenix, is a walk-in family park that sells tickets from 700 baht. This page puts them all side by side so choosing takes five minutes instead of an evening. Every number below was checked July 2026, and closed parks do not appear here, full stop.
Want the highest rated day out? Skyline Adventure. Guests score it 4.8 and it is the only park where you can zipline and then race a gravity kart 2.1 kilometres back down the mountain.
Travelling with a mixed group? Pong Yang. The jungle coaster works for nearly everyone, the setting on the Samoeng road is the prettiest of the five, and the cafe by the waterfall keeps the non-fliers happy.
Chasing the big line? Kingkong Smile. The 1,200 metre valley crossing is the longest single zipline in Chiang Mai and the full circuit gives you the most metres of cable for your baht.
Done ziplines before? Jungle Flight. The roller coaster rail that curves and banks through the canopy is something none of the other parks have.
Hate crowds, or want ATVs in the same day? Sky Hawk. The quietest mountain of the lot, small groups, and the only park where one booking covers the canopy and a forest ATV ride.
Small kids, tight budget, or short on time? Phoenix. Tickets from 700 baht, ropes courses a nine-year-old can manage, a sheep farm for the toddler, and the shortest drive of the six. No hotel transfer at these prices though, so plan your own ride out.
Closed, all of them, permanently. So are Dragon Flight, Eagle Track and Flying Squirrels. Half the "best zipline Chiang Mai" articles on the internet still recommend at least one of these, which is the whole reason this page carries a date stamp. If a booking site offers you one of those tours, close the tab.
One thing that makes comparing the mountain parks easy: all five bake transfer, equipment, insurance and food into the ticket, so the sticker price is more or less the final price. Phoenix is the exception that proves the rule, its tickets are bare, which is how they start at 700 baht, so budget your own transport and lunch there. The walk-in rates above were checked July 2026.
